This is a great sounding pedal BUT it is not reliable and Mooer seem to have no service. I bought one and absolutely loved it. Then it started glitching, then it stopped making any sound. The lights are all on but no one is home. I’m not the only one. There are many reports of problems just after it goes out of warranty and it’s just not worth it to get it fixed privately. Mooer produce great pedals at a price, but once you are forking out more than £200/$200 they need to do better on the aftercare. If you are happy to replace every couple of years, go for it, it’s great.

5 years later and I'm reading that this pedal didn't sell very great at launch, however people are now selling their Strymon delays/reverbs and picking this up. It went from $239 to $300 and may still go up in price. I think people want something different than being stuck in the same old. Mine comes in tomorrow

I'm so close to grabbing this or the jackman..but let's be fair..these aren't typical valve amps..at best they have a preamp..still for the price, the sound and build is insane. Joyo is the best kept secret in the game..they have some amazing pedals..I use a joyo compressor>joyo vintage od>joyo atmosphere reverb>joyo aquarius delay with and option to bypass for the regular joyo digital delay and they all sound sick. I've had super expensive pedals before (hof2, dd8, dl4, blues driver, earthquaker afterneath, i could go on...and this is my favorite set up so far. 👌

I have the Zombie II and the VIVO. I swapped the tube in the Zombie with a Mesa Boogie SPAX7-A, and it sounds amazing. The VIVO is okay, but it leaves somewhat to be desired out of the box. The gain is weaker. It sounds almost as if it needs a tube screamer out front to help it along. I've ordered a Ruby 12 AX7 ACZ HG high gain tube to see if it can help it along. If not, I'll be returning the VIVO for a Jackman II or a Firebrand.

It's basically a Zombie with a few resistor changes. I have a Zombie and love it. This sounds good too.

How does this compare to the Zombie?

I had the joyo zombie played it through a Marshall 1960 cab sounds great but I think this sounds better

Can you contronl more than one parameters with the expressison pedal?

If you have Bias, Amplitube and/or Guitar Rig software, can you do a sound test with your Bantamp VIVO on the Clean channel to push the sims as preamps through your real cab? I'd really like to know if its clean channel is good enough for that application. The Jackman & the Zombie wouldn't work well from what I've heard, because their Clean channel isn't ''clean'' enough. The price on these 20W amps is phenomenal & combined with software sims, the possibilities of different tones becomes endless, hence the interest.

Sounds great! I am probably going to pick one up soon and the Vivo is top runner. I like the Zombie too but it sounds a little less "natural" than the Vivo. Thank you for the great demo.

The wet mix is low so does not show me the depth of the sound. A lot of us using reverbs echos etc want it deep and disturbing. I have a strymon big sky , so wanted to hear one of these. The wet mix is very tame so does not give me a idea of the machine.
